We have kept our oldest sons early rider bike for our 4 year old. He learnt to ride the bike really quickly, but was reluctant to do so. The bike had been fitted originally with metal pedals by ER and we realised they were hurting his shins. So I promised I'd buy him a new set. Following this he set off for his first proper ride down the canal and loved it! Such a quick fix. Now to build those leg muscles for the hills!

Hi Simone, these are the same size pedals that come with our 16" bikes. Perhaps you had the Works Platform Pedals? They are bigger. But glad they are doing the job!
