How?
Attention to detail.
Founder Andy Loveland explains:
“It’s simple - a bike must be easy to control, it must respond competently to change in terrain, weather, rider input. It must minimize the effort required to ride, and maximize the output that can be achieved by little bodies. It must be stable and confidence inspiring – and all of these attributes must be maximized through relentless testing.”

Progression is engineered, not accidental.
What makes a rider feel comfortable and confident on their bike?
It needs to feel stable, planted, responsive, safe.
Not only is safety paramount for us as parents, but feeling safe and comfortable are foundations from which your child can flourish - freeing them from the fear and anxiety which could otherwise hold them back, allowing them to focus, try new things, push their comfort zone.
What gives our bikes unmatched stability? Our Product Manager, Dafydd Evans, explains:
With a lower centre of gravity; extended wheelbase; slacker head tube angle; wide, high volume tyres; optimized tyre pressures and carefully matched handlebar widths, stability is carefully balanced with responsiveness, enabling riders to react quickly and feel both in control, and agile.

A shortened chainstay; tuned steering geometry; optimized trail and fork offsets; lightweight wheel sets and compact steering controls, aims to make kids feel in control of a bike, rather than feel like a passenger. When you’re in control, the bike works with you - responds to you - you feel empowered, confident, focused, ‘in-flow’. Our bikes generate this experience, through carefully considered design choices which optimize responsiveness.

Every contact point is anatomically and ergonomically designed and components that truly work for kids are prioritized. Specifically tuned suspension systems optimized frame weight distribution allow for superior control.
Through enhanced stability, control and responsiveness, we give kids the best chance of feeling comfortable and confident, and in a headspace where they can push themselves, learn and progress. So they can continue enjoying the process and not tire too quickly, we also carefully consider efficiency.
Optimized pedaling positions; dialed handlebar heights; ultra low-friction components; efficient seat tube angles; kid-specific gearing and lightweight, fast-rolling tyres all hugely contribute towards maximum efficiency.
Our bikes work with kids' bodies, maximizing their comfort, allowing them to enjoy the ride and go for longer before tiring - supporting progression, and opening up a whole world of adventures for them, and you!
