The rear wheel came improperly alined, the drive train has too much friction,

I emailed customer support and have yet to get a reply.

This is our second early rider bike, we were unsure about the upfront cost when we bought the belt we 16- but after feeling the weight difference and quality between the earlyrider and a typical children’s bike we were sold. The belter 16 feels like half the weight and it shows when my 3 year old can ride it to school. That 3 year old is now 6 and has passed her bike to her little brother (3). They now both rise their bikes to school together.

If you want to invest in your children’s confidence and ability to ride then get an earlyrider. Quality=safety.

My son is very happy with his new bike.

The bike is fine, however the shifter turns verry hard, my kid has a lot of trouble shifting. We went to a mecanic, and the shifter is fine, it's just the return spring that's hard, and that makes it difficult to shift.

Is there any possibility to have delivered a trigger shifter for the bike?

Only thing to complain about is the resistance of the gear shifting mechanism - for my 6 year old too difficult to use/shift gears. But as he gets older he will grow stronger and will be able to use it.

Das erste Fahrrad Belter16 ist jetzt in benutzung des kleinen Bruders bis jetzt hatten wir keine probleme mit dem Fahrrad. Nur einmal eine acht in dem Rad dies konnte problemlos behoben werden. Bei dem Belter 20 ist die Schaltung sehr schwergängig. Sonst gibt es nicht zu bemängeln die Kinder sind nicht zimperlich mit dem Fahrrädern, aber diese können schon einiges vertragen. Der Preis spielt hier auch in der Oberliga.

We bought our third bike from early rider. This one is good but not perfect because the gear shift is stiff. No grip und very stiff. When the hands are wet then no chance to switch.

Kids had the 16s before so unsurprisingly they are very at home with the Belter 20s and delighted with the gears that are simple, effective, and low maintenance. The twist mechanism is a bit stiff for them (just turned age 6) but should get easier as they get used to it, and get stronger with age. All in all they/we are delighted with the bikes.
