Belter 16

We moved to this bike from a different one, and now I can finally enjoy bike trips with my toddler. The bike is fast enough and easy to ride, which brings a lot of excitement and joy to my kid. Sure, it’s not cheap, and that made me hesitant at first, but after owning it, I do believe it’s worth the price considering the quality, ease of riding, and overall experience. Good job to the Early Rider team!

I picked this bike because of its awesome gearing system and the super‑smooth belt drive — and wow, what a game‑changer! My three‑and‑a‑half‑year‑old no longer pedals like he’s mixing invisible cake batter. Now he zooms forward with real purpose!
He’s so proud of his new bike that he shows it off to anyone who glances his way. Watching him ride around with that huge smile is proof enough: this bike is an absolute win!
Just pay attention to the kickstand model.

This is our 3rd Early Rider bike, starting with the bigfoot, moving on to the Belter 14 then this one. As all products ER makes, this one does not disappoint. It's light, the spec and build are first class and it is easy to customize to whatever your child wants to do. We bought tires with more tread since my kiddo loves the dirt and they were easy to swap out.

My child continues to get better riding and loves the freedom that we all do associated with riding a bike. The Belter makes it easy for him to feel confident, and I know that these Early Rider bikes are a big part of that.

First of all, the product super high quality and beautiful bike, is a head turner.
Second the progression my boy (3.4 yr's) has grown since his first pedal, is amazing, from green trail to skate park or riding in the neighborhood the kid has grown confidence and skills. Coming from a ship amazon 12" bike to the Belter 16" is obvious that geometry and quality of the bike matter increasing performance. I recommend this bike, if possible, investing a little more, the feeling of progression and the happy face of your Kid is totally worth it!!

We gave our daughter the Belter 16 for her 4th birthday. She's 6 now and still loving it. We are a bike commuting family, so we needed her first pedal bike to be something easy to ride to build her confidence. That's how we justified the cost of this bike. We also have a younger daughter to pass it on to when she outgrows it. She had been riding a balance bike since age 2. We took off the pedals at first to let her transition to the bigger frame and get used to the hand brakes. She probably would have fit a 14 better, but it's a big investment and we wanted some longevity! After a couple weeks on her tip toes riding like a balance bike, we put the pedals back on. At first, she needed help getting going, but was soon biking completely independently, and even managed a 3 km commute to preschool most days! It's a beautiful, well built bike that turns a lot of heads! We'll definitely buy the next size up when she outgrows this one and passes it down to her little sister.

Fantastic bike. Cant be any lighter and sturdier. Daddy and pilot are super happy . Definitely no regret

So far I can give you only bad rating, because:

1. The Belter16 package (no.05308818677507) has not yet arrived to me.

2. I did the order on 12-apr-2023.

3. Your local shipping company in Finland (PostNord) does not give answers to my questions about the package.

In PostNord package tracking webpage I can see that they have stopped the package in their Vantaa warehouse, because of unknown delivery address.

The delivery address is correct in your order confirmation email to me on 12-apr-2023 ( see the attached photo)

Really nice bike this is the third one within the family unfortunately its just a tad big so will have to wait for a few months for the grandchild to grow a little.
Will borrow the other grandchilds 14 for afew month then swap back

As with anything in life, you pay for what you get. The Belter 16 may be more expensive than other options (especially when buying internationally and shipping - we live in Australia) but what you get back is worth it - quality, lightweight, low maintenance and an all round fantastic bike.

My now 5 1/2 year old is out on the bike nearly every day and it's been one of the best purchases we've made. It's easy to assemble and adjust. The only drawback / nice to have would have been additional neck
length and spacers for the handlebars - - we've had to purchase parts from a local bikeshop to raise the bars as my son has grown.

I picked up a bbb cycling stand which has worked well too.

my son loves this bike. He start in Clasic Mullet, but in 3 years start riding alone in belter 16.
He start a day and finishing with him. He absolutely loves it

Great first pedal bike!

My kid just turned 4 years old and drove away instantly with the Belter 16, after using a "walk bike" for 2 years the balance was just there.

We're very happy with this bike, which was really easy to assemble, and just looks amazing on my kid.

Can't wait until my kid is more experienced, so we can do some bike trails together! :-D

Everything about the bike is perfect. My 4 year old is the talk of the neighborhood!

This is a solid build of a bike. My son started off his bike experience riding shotgon on my 29er hitting trails local to me. Having seeing nieces bike and neighbours and how heavy, cheap built and that the chains had all rusted and wheel seized it was apparent to me that I didn't want this for my son. I can understand why some would think this bike is out of their budget when you base it against the standard kids bikes. But this bike is not even in that league. I've purchased this exactly as my son reached the right inside leg to suit the ride, ensuring full term on the bike. That said. As this bike is built like a small adults bike I can simply swop the bars out for a bmx bar and my son now has a small bmx like bike extending the years on the bike. This actually makes this very viable.

We have had a Seeker 14 and now have a Belter 16 and love them both, by far the best kids bikes available. In hindsight I would have gone for the Belter 14 rather than the Seeker just because at that age when they’re just trying to get going for the first time the knobbly tyres do make a difference. We will soon be ready for a 20!
We have a baby boy due shortly and would love to get one of the Speedsters for him. Any idea how or when I’ll be able to get one?
