Three year old is getting more interested in pedal bikes with the older kids around. This is a great upgrade to the Charger. High quality parts as expected. Overall, took me a couple of hours while also watching the kids. Helps to have a variety of bike tools and some previous know-how with bike maintenance. It will be easier to visualize because the instructions, while clearly written, don't have the best illustrations. The hardest part was getting the handlebar grip off. I used the air compressor trick to pop it off.

cable has the right length and all you need for the installation is included. manage the cable through the frame is a little bit tricky. found the installation guide only after searching here on the page. a link or qr code with the package would have been better - but at all the installation is no problem. the lever is perfect adjustable so it fits also with the small hands of this 3 yr old rider :-)

The brake upgrade is a great addition to my little boys charger, easy to fit if you know what your doing and very good quality. Little boy is very happy he can now do SKIDS!!
No instructions and extremely difficult to thread the cable through the frame- ended up taking to a local shop to fit as didn’t have the time to faff around with it.

But point taken, we haven't made that clear enough.
I found the charger brake kit quite easy to install (not being the most handy man myself) even if no instructions were included, and I didn't find a demo video on the early rider website. Perhaps that could be useful? It's no different from mounting a V-break on any other bike out there.
This is no cheap plastic garbage. It is a robust brake.
I would buy it again. Putting it on the bike was quite easy. The kid is not yet riding the bike so I cannot tell whether he can use the brake or not. First impression is that it is quite hard to pull. But there are several adjustment options so I guess this can be fixed.
