Das Lite wird aus SuperPly™ in Marinequalität gefertigt – dem Material, aus dem Boote, Docks und Gartenmöbel gemacht sind, die ein Leben lang draußen bestehen.

Genauer hingeschaut

Nicht alle Holzräder sind gleich

Marine-Super-Ply – das Material, das auch für Boote, Stege und Gartenmöbel verwendet wird. Es hält draußen ein halbes Leben lang. Und genau deshalb nutzen wir es für unsere Holzräder. Denn unsere Laufräder sollen mehr als nur ein Kind glücklich machen.

Das Material ist unglaublich vielseitig: Es verzieht sich nicht, schrumpft nicht, verrottet nicht – und dank seines durchgehenden Kerns gibt es keine versteckten Schwachstellen, die später Probleme machen könnten.

Oberflächlich betrachtet ist es nur ein Holzrad. Aber für uns steckt so viel mehr dahinter.

Wetterfest – und wenn es sein muss: kochfest

Klar, wir empfehlen nicht, das Lite zu kochen, aber wir haben unsere Räder so gebaut, dass sie jeder Eventualität standhalten. Wir verwenden WBP-Kleber für unsere Räder. WBP steht für Weather and Boil Proof (wetter- und kochfest) und sorgt dafür, dass kein Wasser eindringt, egal bei welcher Temperatur. Das ist besonders wichtig in feuchten Klimazonen, in denen Regen selbst das stabilste Holz innerhalb von Monaten fast in Brei verwandeln kann.

Zusätzlich schützt der Kleber vor Schimmelbildung – falls das Rad doch mal im Regen stehen bleibt.

Zwei-Stufen-Lenksystem

Das Zwei-Stufen-Lenksystem hilft Kindern, sicher fahren zu lernen – ohne sie in ihrer Entwicklung auszubremsen.

In Stufe 1 ist der Lenkeinschlag begrenzt. So behalten Anfängerinnen und Anfänger leichter die Kontrolle, bleiben sicher im Gleichgewicht – und gewinnen durch erste Erfolge schnell Selbstvertrauen.

Sobald die Grundlagen sitzen, lässt sich die Lenkung freigeben – für mehr Agilität, neue Freiheit und die nächste Portion Abenteuer.

Wie viele der besten Ideen ist auch diese verblüffend einfach.

Schöne, langlebige Details – mit Funktion

Am Lite ist wirklich jedes Detail liebevoll auf Langlebigkeit und Funktion ausgelegt. Es gibt kein Feature, keine Verzierung und kein Designelement, das keinen Zweck erfüllt.

Das Flammenmuster wird eingebrannt – denn Aufkleber lösen sich mit der Zeit. Der vegane Ledersitz ist bestickt statt bedruckt, weil Drucke bröckeln und verblassen. Auch das Messing ist gehärtet – für mehr Haltbarkeit und mit einem charaktervollen, tiefen Rostton, der ganz nebenbei richtig gut aussieht.

Nützlich, schön, langlebig. Das ist unser Motto, und dabei bleiben wir.

„Roll-Modell“

Das Lite verfügt über marktführende Aluminiumfelgen und -naben, um Gewicht zu sparen, und hochwertige, abgedichtete ABEC-Patronenlager, um Gewicht und Rollwiderstand zu minimieren.
Durch die Verwendung solch hochwertiger Radsätze können wir das Gewicht in Reifen investieren, die die Sicherheit und Leistung bieten, die den Unterschied ausmachen, ohne sie mit einem Gewichtsnachteil zu belasten.

Sanft rollen

Das Lite rollt auf 1,75 Zoll breiten, leichtlaufenden Reifen, die 2- bis 4-Jährigen die Stabilität geben, die sie zum Lernen brauchen, das Luftvolumen für den nötigen Komfort und den Grip, um auch bei Regen selbstbewusst auf gemischtem Terrain unterwegs zu sein. Denn schlechtes Wetter gibt es nicht. Nur das falsche Laufrad.

Great product, no customer service

This bike is sturdy and my niece loves it. Unfortunately ours shipped without the child safe valve stem caps. I reached out to customer service twice to get replacements but have not heard any response after nearly two weeks. Hard to recommend a high-end product that has no customer service.

Looks solid.

The bike is really cool. My little one was super happy. She is still learning, but overall, I am glad we bought it.

She might need a bit more time to grow 1-2 more cm to feel more comfortable on it, but she just turned 2 so I guess it will work well for the summer.

The fact that you can lock the handlebar for a new learner is a nice touch.

The assembly was super easy. I feel it is still a bit too heavy for a 2 year old, but I guess it depends on the child.

The build quality is very nice though and appreciated.
